VACANCY 1 - Content Writer /Creator

We are looking for someone to join the team as a content writer/creator. The ideal candidate will be a conscious Muslim with experience in content writing, with access to a laptop and internet connection. Candidate must be a disciplined individual who can work with minimal supervision and produce quality work in a timely manner.

Job Type: Part-time (WFH)

Detailed Description: The content writer will be responsible for creating clear and consistent written content for our brand.

Duties and responsibilities can include:

• Completing writing projects according to given style and assignment specifications before deadlines
• Developing new content ideas for the brand
• Researching topics so content contains timely and accurate information. All content must be carefully researched/verified to ensure that no erroneous message is being implied or portrayed.
• Revising existing content to reflect business changes or new preferences
• Creating or revising style guides, either alone or with the team, to ensure all written content is effective and consistent
• Determining content needs through conversations with the team, customers and brand consultants.
• Writer will also be involved in various smaller tasks such as text pieces for marketing materials, mailings and so on.

 Nature of Content - We are an Islamic Lifestyle brand as such all written content will be guided by Islamic principles. Example of content type we will need includes Islamic parenting tips, Islamic gift ideas for kids of different ages, Quran knowledge etc Writer will also be involved in various smaller tasks such as text pieces for marketing materials, mailings and so on.

Skills Required:

High standards of written English

Passionate about writing

Great story teller with the ability to produce engaging content written eloquently

Team player

Proofreading and attention to detail

Ability to use basic design packages such as Canva.

Work From Home Schedule: 3 days a week.

VACANCY 2 – Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a warm and presentable customer service personnel to engage with customers at our retail outlet as well as online platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction by providing necessary support to customers ranging from answering product questions to receiving and implementing feedback. Candidate must be Muslim and reside in close proximity to the store.

Job Type: Full-time

Candidate must be willing to work on Saturdays & Sundays.

Duties and responsibilities can include:

• Welcoming customers into the store with a friendly demeanour
• Provide in store and phone support to customers by answering product and service questions on social media platforms
• Handle customer feedback and general enquiries.
• Process orders in line with company guidelines.
• Deal with customer issues swiftly and appropriately
• Support retail store pick up by helping with receipt of products from suppliers as well as processing orders for delivery
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service across all engagement platforms both offline and online
• Complete store administrative tasks and ensure compliance with policies and standard operating procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Must be presentable and have good command of English Language.
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have good temperament
• Must have strong organization skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must have an overall good attitude, must be teachable and be ready to adhere to company policies and procedures.
